http://bikeforums.net/attachment.php...hmentid=446897 From about 1.5 yrs ago when I just started to explore the south of Munich. I have no idea how I got there or where it lead to. But it was a cool gravel road. http://bikeforums.net/attachment.php...hmentid=446898 Going into Aying. Tower from the brewery in full view. http://bikeforums.net/attachment.php...hmentid=446899 |

Photo from last Autumn. Colors a bit over the top, but I was glad to be back on this road after a long winter!

Given that my photo was the inspiration for the start of this thread, a long time ago, I guess it behooves me to keep it going.
This photo shows the paved access road that starts at the end of Big Rock Drive, in Malibu, California, well above the Pacific Ocean. The pavement leads onto dirt roads in the Santa Monica Mountains Recreation Area. At the start it looks like an easy ride. However, the pavement soon reaches rock strewn grades of more than 20%. http://www.pbase.com/davewyman/image...1841/large.jpg |

The road looks very narrow. Is it one-way, or do you just make room when another vehicle is coming?
