When I'm climbing Monte Sano, I move into the middle of the lane on the blind curves to keep the cars from trying to pass and probably forcing me into the ditch. Once I can see up ahead, I wave the cars around.
You should never right as close to the curb as you can. That just invites trouble with cars. Stay 2-3 feet out in the road.

That's absolutely true!
My first marathon was Chicago in 1980. All we wanted to do was to complete the course running 9 minute miles so we lined up at the start by the "9 minute mile" sign. It took us 3 1/2 miles to get past all the F%&$^ng walkers so we could jog at our "race" pace.

So you think "practicable" and "possible" have the same legal meaning?
The A&S guys would just love that.
Now, why don't you go ride as close to the curb as possible. Come on, I know you can ride closer than that.
