Campagnolo acquired by Japanese company?

Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

True or not, that's probably because no one in the news cares. Hell, we barely care, and we're reading bicycle messageboards late at night.

The only article a google news search produces is this one. If it's on the interwebs, then it must be true.

and we have fix to add fluff to every thread started by bdcheung in a vain attempt to pad his postcount and look like he's being witty by criticizing everything everyone else does while adding nothing of value himself, and fix is always snarky.

Let's look at fix's recent posts, and subjectively grade them based on their value of contribution:

I don't think anyone mentioned Artemis yet. I know they have plenty of CX racers in the lower categories.
I race for Team TOMS; our DC membership is full at the moment but I'll post here again if we're looking for more riders. Cat 4/5 definitely accepted.

“Apparently summer temperature brings silly gossip! Campagnolo do not know who has the time to circulate crazy rumors; instead we prefer, as usual, not to waste time and concentrate on business. Campagnolo is not on sale ! Have a nice summer period and see you in September.”

Shark jumping?

I guess 11 speed and lightweight, re-buildable is not for everyone.

Of course it's not true, the company is doing quite well and still has a major market share in high-end bikes, just not in the US.
