Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

My Sportal Super 12 dream team had a shocking first round.

I knew I should've picked Mat Rogers instead of Chris Latham.....

Dont forget latham is out this weekend along with Waugh and Gregan for the charity match, and Rathbone, Mortlock and Gitz are out as well by the looks of it. Just letting you know, I accidently left Gitz in my team on the weekend and had him as kicker as well

Expect a good season from Rogers! go the Waratahs!

Well I hope SBS does not get Super 12's I got foxtel for that only reason!

Yep...the North v South game is gonna cut a swathe through my DT. Just making my two trades for this week now.

I reckon Rokocoko can go too.

Except those *****ers that I ordered my Cannondale part from sat on my payment for a week before telling me the item is no longer available.
Willy and I were out training for the OTB comp this morning. No points earned

Sounds like we need a date and venue set for this ride ! Any particular month? How about April?

Bikes: 8 bikes - one for each day of the week!

Update: I typed "Reducer" into the cycling search on ebay, and it brought up the Cannondale Headshok reducer cups, with Buy It Now! Looks like Munchie is back on the hook for a ride in the bush. Don't worry little roadie, there's always drinks on the way back.

My one kidney (I have Foxtel) explains my poor cycling performance

Climbo, Super 12 night at my place coming up soon, unfortunately I've told about 10 mates so we may resort to floor seating.

2 different races, not sure where this one goes to or from. Got a kayak? Might be worth a try, March 6th is a little early though, only 5 days away.

Make sure you drop in at Presto Sport on the Haarlemstraat. Great shop.....next to a "cafe" too, so you get the occasional "waft"!!

Pretty boy spencer

Did you end up watching most of the games? I was most impressed with the Tahs, and Brumbies (they did very well after losing Mortlock and Rathbone). The Reds had a tough one, they were just totally shutdown at the breakdown! Just hope the Tah's can end strong for once

I watched the Friday night game (Tahs v Chiefs....some of the stuff Rogers came up with was awesome) and the game from Sooth Effrika....Cats v Bulls. Rogers seems to be the barometer for the Tahs, so I hope he can stay fit for you blokes.

I also made the mistake of watching Italy v Scotland. both countries should be stripped of IRB status. Awful.
