I agree. Too much effort and pain for minimal reward.

Racing is like sticking a butter knife in a powerpoint. :D

lol....I did get electrocuted by my washing machine one day. That was interesting, to say the least.

So how was the very loud party in drab city? Many beers consumed, sunburn, frazzled ear-drums?

When I started work I was servicing computery type things - mostly Sanyo 555's. The power switch was on the front, and there were many a hazy morning where I would (unwisely) place both hands on the front panel only to touch the exposed Active terminal on the rear of the switch. It's an amazing wake up call. And I never learnt from the experience
:o

Another year...another Grand Prix. Didn't go this year....seen one, you've seen them all.

(read: Ed didn't get any corporate freebies, so he's pissed off with the whole thing)

Yep....it's a reminder you've got a central nervous system, that's for shizzle. There's no pain quite like it.

Ho hum. This thread is starting to suck. I'm going to miss cricket soon.

Yes the cricket has been a yorrn 5-nill one day series, the cricket is hopefully going to be more interesting, compettive with the test on Thursday. If the KIWIS show up for another whopping,we have a can of woop ass ready to open, bring on Brett Lee's 162Kmh balls and whatch the kiwis start to back pedal.

Brian 03-08-05 03:56 AM

Sorry you missed the sarcasm there. I don't care for cricket, but my wife used to play indoor cricket so she makes me watch it. I find it as exciting as golf and bowling. When the chappies on here start going off about the games, I drift off to sleep. But I suppose that's better than nothing. No Tiger sarcasm, no Munchie wit, no 531 with his bling and crack. No ed with his Seinfield references. And Climbo, what the hell is up with the NHL avatar?

rockmuncher 03-08-05 11:18 AM

So can they fix it?

ed073 03-08-05 03:04 PM

Ouch...nasty crack.

Brian 03-08-05 03:05 PM

It's a bit too early for a close up of someone's crack. Wait, it's never a good time.

climbo 03-08-05 03:15 PM

The only thing up with it is that there is no NHL this year.

rockmuncher 03-08-05 03:39 PM

You still gainfully employed, Expat?

rockmuncher 03-08-05 06:09 PM

Trek 4500 acquired. A bit big, but it'll do for a Saturday smash. Any takers?

climbo 03-08-05 06:17 PM

I can't make it this weekend :(

Probably, Wifes inter-state all week so need to check plans.

Climbo, did you see the thread re: the 'spirit level' device on the bars?

climbo 03-08-05 06:21 PM

from cyclingnews.com

"Scott plans to help break down the barriers by bringing Eddy Merckx to Australia and staging an attempt on the Canberra-Sydney record by Quick Step's Michael Rogers, the aim being to expose more of Sydney's population to cycling and lay the groundwork for future growth. Dollars may be hard to find, but Scott seems determined to do his bit to lift the profile of the sport in Sydney. "
