yep, and being fired from the team. One year out of league can be a lot of $$$ these days for a player.

well either you should be there, or get your kids out on the track. The other girls ride their pretty pink bikes in the junior development races.

good, I hate the Bulldogs.

munchie - how come the club can't get your or my name right? To be on cyclingnews.com and unrecognizable is just not right. :)

I thought you'd be over imparting your criterium racing knowledge and winning skills to the yanks on that other thread by now.

Yay for cricket. Looks like the Australian pace attack's coming across a bit pedestrian after not playing Bing. Sending the opposition in and not getting a wicket for 25 overs (and warney getting it to boot)? That's hopeless.

for the 0.5% of people on this forum who've actually turned a pedal in anger, I thought that was pretty obvious??

climbo 03-09-05 05:57 PM

anyone notice this? Over a 46.5 km stage, insane stuff.

1 Tom Boonen (Bel) Quick Step 53.31 (52.13 km/h avg speed)

Mad stage....saw a glimpse of it on p1ssweak Eurosport News. Was essentially a 46km lead out by the Rabos and QS. Incredible.

LOL, yes it is but you'll get a few pages of discussion on it from the experts anyway. This poor guy is a Cat 5 racer (i.e. total beginner), he should be having fun, a classic over-thinker in my book.

e-experts crack me up.

I've got a mental image of some bloke last wheel in a massive US cat 5 crit, elastic juuuuust about to snap at 50kmh and he's thinking "Sh1t...the dudes on bikeforums.com reckon I should spin more to save my legs for the finale....better shift out of the 13 to the 17..." click...click...click...

he he!!!

you think that might be a bad thing Ed? :D

climbo 03-09-05 06:10 PM

yep, out the back for this kid :)

BTW, cycling.tv has a behind the scenes look at the cyclingnews.com team, plenty of Aussie content/riders about racing Div 3 in Belgium.

OK, I put a little summint in there for them. A Seinfeld post to be sure, but that's prolly as much as they can cope with in one hit :)

If you're 3rd wheel into the final corner I reckon you'd get about 3.6 nanosecond of rest!!
