Nice work Hitchy. Now, what do we have to do to get you on a Thylacine, that's the big question.

My Mum used to get those phonecalls.....I reckon by the time I was about 17, she was pretty blase about it.

Yep.....that's a familiar looking list. At least you're actually using the thousands of dollars you donate to MBF/Medibank Private/NIB etc etc.....:(

ed073 03-22-05 11:41 PM

Thylacine......you're in the news again mate

Yes, it allows me to get a better job here (the current one's not so bad though) while me make preparations. So many variables right now, including immigration for my wife. But I can now come and go as I please from this country. At least for the next 5 years. And they call it permanent?

From the time of my very earliest memory my mum used to just say "go and have a hot bath". It didn't really matter whether it was a stubbed toe or a broken femur, the bath cured all. And I've started using the same treatment on my kids... ain't that sad!

Sounds very similar to the green card in the US which has to be renewed every 10 years (I think) and if you're ever non-resident in the country for more than a year it can be revoked.

Brian 03-23-05 02:35 PM

US immigration is the next thing we'll have to deal with. Not looking forward to that.

Boy you must ride fast!! ...but seriously, sorry to hear you got nabbed. It's never nice.

dbuckingham144 03-23-05 05:31 PM

lol, wish I could ride that fast :D Yeah oh well, I guess it something that happens at times in life. Just could do without it at the moment... need to save some cash.

But at least tomorrow is the long weekend, looking forward to getting out for a ride at some stage and run as well maybe. Just need the weather to improve a bit.

Got Easter plans?
