Uh, no. I lack the motivation and anaerobic capacity at this time. That, and it's just too damn cold to race.

from reports on 26 inches.com it was carnage out there. hell its bad enough sometimes when you get off the train with 20 odd other bikers let alone 300.

climbo 06-28-05 05:36 PM

what/where is Oaks ? and why is it so bad?

HDTVKSS 06-28-05 05:42 PM

blue mountains, from woodford to glenbrook. not a bad ride, a little bland but OK. the issue isnt with the trail but the manners of those that ride it. you get a lot of people with little or no situational awareness that create some safety issues, cutting other riders off, collisons etc. most of which should be able to be avoided.

Apparantly the race on the weekend had a lot of young guys in the fun class who thought they were racing norba. read lots of reports of people shoulder charging, running people off the track etc. although, apparantly in the sport, expert and elite classes things were a lot more civilised.

Aussies get everywhere - Andrew Bogut was taken as the no. 1 overall pick in the NBA draft.

Hasn't taken long for him to pay out on:
Luc Longley
Andrew Gaze
Shane Heal
Chris Anstey

or the aussie NBL (which he never played in)

but good on him anyway!!

climbo 06-28-05 06:06 PM

was it the Bucks that got him? They NEED help. He's Aussie/Czech I think.

PaulBravey 06-28-05 06:10 PM

Yeah, the Bucks got him. He's been at University of Utah for the last 2 years, he had a great year this year and that combined with his play for the Aussie team hyped him into the no 1 spot. The fact that he's 7' tall helped too :)

HDTVKSS 06-28-05 06:28 PM

not a bad effort at all considering a few years ago he was struggling to get a run in a starting 5 here in Australia...

now we just need to work out how to get him into the spurs!! :D

climbo 06-28-05 06:31 PM

nah, 76ers need him !!

Brian 06-29-05 12:49 AM
