I would have the meat of the elipse a 60deg so you use more of it as you just start your downstroke, but I don't have $20M worth of marketting hype behind me so I couldn't possibly be right :D

Use em if you like em I guess

yep, have to remain calm and take in details. Sometimes you catch them at a light or stop sign up the road which helps take stuff down.

I did report a guy to the Police once for being a TOTAL arsehole, mainly from the abuse he gave me, not the actual dangerous driving.

Anything come of it, or did the sarge just nod politely and toss the report once you headed out the door?

took a report, told me if it happens twice or more you can take action for harrassment or some sh1t if you can be bothered going to court with it. Since it was on my regular commute I thought I may come across this guy again but never did.

I sprayed a guy with water though his window at a light once, right in his crotch for a nice wet patch :)

ROFLMAO. Paul was referring to a nasty incident on Saturday where his back sunddenly became cold & wet through some unexplained phenomenon. You were the next intended victim, but you're bigger than me so I thought better of it :)

Nope. He was just standing around looking like he needed half a bidon of water, so I obliged. Then when I went to buy some water there wasn't any!!! Wal's excuse was that cyclists don't drink the stuff anymore!! What the? Anyway, Paul donated some from his camelback to replace what I'd just emptied onto his shirt. What a top bloke. Onya Paul

Once witnessed a woman dumping fish & chip wrappers thru the sunroof of a guys BMW after he dropped them out of his window about 1m away from a bin. :D

On the HRMs do you customize the E1-E5 with your heart rate %'s or just know what 'zone' you are training in? I cant believe anyone actually plans & sets up the different intervals etc before going for a ride???

that's why you got it didn't ya? We will determine your zones when you come over for a Max HR test. I also need your e-mail address.

yep, it's a BYO versus demand/supply issue.

Are Principia's any good?

Apaarently the egg-ness is opposite to the old Biopace. Makes it harder to get over the dead-spot but more power.

Apparently.

531Aussie 04-04-05 09:03 PM

hmmmm...I see

Excellent. Best Aluminium frames out there. Workmanship is 2nd to none.

don d. 04-04-05 09:08 PM

Just what i need; a chainring with the companies phone on it. :)

I hear the principia is da kine in alu frames also. On their lightest frames, they used to and may still dip the frame in an acid solution to thin the walls uniformly and reduce weight.

badsac 04-04-05 09:10 PM

Ack! Workmate just bought one with Dura Ace for $3k. Second had of course, but it was refurbed by the distributor and looks good as new. Lucky bugger. :(

I couldn't be bothered myself, the tiny little readout is hard enuf to read at the best of times without having to hunt for some tiny little flashing blocks about 1mm square. I found it easier to know and love the values.

But I'm keen to witness the MaxHR test. Should I bring one bucket or two for him? :p

yep, you're lucky to be able to ride in a straight line at E4 let alone read anything on your watch. :)

Yep. that's correct. They know their sh1t.

climbo 04-04-05 09:29 PM

on the surface of it (ha ha), that acid bath sounds like a bad way to treat a nice frame. Does it really work?
