How bad do I want to get skinny?
I gave up bagels.
I miss them.

It does occur to me that the nuanced and clever double meaning of this thread title is lost on all you morons.

56 miles on the Cervelo this morning.
I have the best dog, the best road bikes, the best wife (OK the only one that will ever put up with me) the best daughter and the worst baseball team (besides the Cubs). That being said that was a pretty nifty near-perfect game Mr. Niese threw for the Metsies last night.

There was a syndicated sports show on the radio this am. They were talking about how elitist soccer fans are. How they will toss names out like they are old buddies. That the only thing worse is music fans, who do the same but pick more obscure names. I should have emailed them a link to this site, and more specifically the thread where roadies were talking about music.

They mentioned that, and the point was that most people know the names of players of more mainstream sports. That elitist people seem to get off on tossing names out to demonstrate their elite status, where as people that are into mainstream sports know that others know the names. I just found it interesting, and could instantly relate having been on here for a couple of years.

What's wrong with elitism? Just because all you Freds suck doesn't mean the rest of us can't wallow in our egos and delusions.

half an hour ago i looked out the window and saw the weather had cleared so I made an executive decision. I'm going to redo my cambridge century and see how quickly i could do it without mechanical probs so I went out nd bought a multi pack of 5 snickers. Yum.

The oil industry experts are looking at this blown well in the Gulf spewing 40,000 bbl daily for nearly two months, and they just shake their heads. Because they think this may be the biggest discovery of oil since the friggin Saudis. There's a lotta oil down there boys.
Let's hope they figure out how to cap it, clean up the Gulf and then go back and safely pump some of that oil out and get it to the refineries where it belongs.
