We seriously need to get an organized, unsupported BF ride, up Mt. Doom (Doomstock Ride).

It won't be like those crazy mass-rider events though because I doubt anybody will show up--do any of you ride in real life? Prove me wrong...

no need to pay me anything. If pcad had an actual event from his house I would go as long as some others would be there. I figure you, jorge, myself, whoever was from nutley, a few other north jersey people I can't remeber, grumpy and some of the other NYC folks could come it could be a good time. If he actually posted it for real I bet he would get 10-15 people. Come over meet at 10 on a sat ride 50-60 miles hang out on deck eat food then go home.

Road Nazi Ride

At least they're up front about it:

Road riding in Knoxville is dangerous.

So, have the plans for Doomstock and Doomstock, The Ride 2010 been solidified? T shirt and winner's jersey designed?

It's outdoor furniture, a 21st century technology that does not appear to have reached the UK. Don't worry, once they get enough Home Depot stores, it will.

I figured you , As Pcad the Allmighty , Would use Trex Decking... Shame.

Go to Flyover Community College, take Economics 101, see if you can manage a passing grade, and we'll discuss this afterwards.

Trex decking = 3000

Stain for regular deck over 30 years = 10000

hmmm

75% of all statistics are made up.

Odds that any American will live in the same house for 30 years: 5%.

I stain my deck about once every five years, cost for the deck portion is about $1000, so your deck staining cost figures are off by $4K. Most of that is labor. If I were slightly more J. Lunchpail, and I stained it myself (God forbid), the stain only costs about $250.
