^ makes sense. Someone at work today told me 202 is heart attack level, and that I need to watch it.
This is... well... A German student "mooned" a group of Hell's Angels and hurled a puppy at them before escaping on a stolen bulldozer, police have said. |

Max HR declines with age. Somebody 18-20 years old should have a max in the 200+ range. My max HR was 195 or so in my 30's and early 40's, now that I'm 52 it's more like 186, once in a while I see 188. Haven't seen 190 in the past few years.

In 20-40 min TT's, my HR averages 175-176. That's about 94% of max for me.

Hey pCad, I tried to do a max heart rate test on the trainer this winter, but got tired before I got to the blacking out/puking stage. I got to 189 though. So, how much can I add to that? I don't really want to try again, just too much like hard work.
