How is it that aholes like D. Cheney survive 5 or 6 heart attacks and live to be old and sinister men, but people like J. Lennon can't make it past 40 years old? I mean, what's up with that.

This sure as been a hoot to read all the responses, thanks guys!!
I find it funny that just because I use the word "I" meaning me and not any of you, you all think I mean't "you". Reread my post #702 and see for yourselves. I, that's I, personally did not like the ride of the Madone it was too wooden feeling, or dead feeling compared to the steel rides I have...but that's me...let me repeat...that's ME, and I'm not implying in any way that I am saying that I am saying that's the way it feels for you or how it should feel to you. Nor did I say you should not buy one, in fact I said I wasn't against anyone buying a $6,000 bike...why did I say that? Because I spent more then that by the time I got done with the trip to England for the Mercian!!! DO ANY OF YOU UNDERSTAND ENGLISH?? DO ANY OF YOU KNOW HOW TO READ??? Well if so reread my post #702.
And then V70Cat responds that I can't afford a $6,000 bike yet failed to see the Mercian I have, nor realize I went to England in 07 to be personally measured to have the bike custom built to me and for my particular needs and wants (I was going to England anyway's for other reasons and made a side trip to get work started on the bike). But, hey I can't afford a $6,000 bike...right.
And yes WiFi, true investment includes monetary gain or it's not an investment in my book and in the dictionary where the word investment means: Definition: the act of investing; laying out money or capital in an enterprise with the expectation of profit. That is the true meaning of an investment, thus buying a bicycle or a stereo or lottery tickets, etc is not an investment.
And yes AngryScientist, I have 2 carburated cars, a 67 Ford Galaxy 500 conv and a 79 Chev Camaro Z28 and wouldn't trade either one of them for a fuel injected computer controlled car! You make a comment about typewriters vs word processing on a computer...funny, there are more typewriters around then there are old computers...hmmm, I guess some things were made to last. And yes I use fuel burning lanterns when I camp.
This surely applies to America:
The spirit was freedom and justice,
And it's keepers seem "friendly" and kind,
It's leaders were supposed to serve the country,
But now they were paying no mind,
'Cause the people "got" fat and "grew" lazy,
now their vote "is like a" meaningless "Tune"
"You know they talk about law "about" order,
But it's all just an echo of what they've been told
Yeah, there's a monster on the loose
It's got our heads into a noose
And it just sits there watchin'.
America where are you now?
Don't you care about your sons and daughters?
Don't you know we need you now.
We can't fight alone against the monster.
