Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Do you know what is addicting? Reese's Peanut Butter Cups.

But they melt in your back pocket.

I compensate by making PB&Nutella gyros.

They are way better than those overpriced energy bars.

Which gives me an idea.

Hershey should get into the growing energy bar market by making liquid Reese's Peanut Butter Gels.

Liquid Addiction.

Are you listening?

I generally race in the 35+, sometimes the 45+. But characterizing what I do as 'racing' when I ride with these guys is a stretch. On the other hand I rarely finish DFL. And I do typically finish as opposed to getting spit out the back. In my last race in October I missed top 10 by one spot. 11th. That sucked, but it wasn't such a bad result for me. Hell, I was happy to hang in that race (small field, tougher to not get dropped).

If you could get this thread to keep going, you could have more posts than the 7 year old "What road bike do you have?" thread in less than a year.

Go Ahead Ask Pcad Anything has way more posts than that stupid thread. And that thread can't be killed.

It is Night of the Living Thread.

I'm dying here. 35C. My watch thermometer was showing 47C after an hour riding.

February was the driest month in 140 years. 6.3mm of rain.

Send me some snow.

You need to read all 50 pages to really understand the true shallowness of this thread.

I plan to market the Cliffs Notes guides to Epic Pcad threads soon, $19.95, or $14.95 for the iPod version.
