I only say that because it's not too hard to pass the 250+lb lawyer on a P3 when you have to do multiple 10 mile loops.

Schleck's post ride interview was pretty impressive. There was a level of sportsmanship in today's stage you rarely see in professional sports these days.

I've done a few. I think it would be better if they made the swimming at the end. It would make people really put some thought into wether they really want to try a triathlon. Less people to pass on the bike that way.

Did one in June. A guy in the wave in front of me went out with a kickboard strapped to his ankle so that he had his own flotation device if had he problems. That's just stupid and dangerous. I hope he got DQ'd, but never heard.

I've thought about bike racing, but decided I'm not committed enough to be the type of guy to race every week. I like doing my own thing, so having that sort of schedule and being on a team is just too much for me.

It gets easier the more comfort you have. You ride closer and whatnot. Earlier in the year I would have like 18" from wheels know when they crank it up I spend a alot of time <6", which helps at speed.

6". Yikes.

This isn't a very tight paceline in the back (where I was). The rotation breaks down, people pass in both lanes, people ride off center and/or between the lanes.

It doesn't help when you're not completely sure what the rider in front of you or beside you may do next.

I ride easily within a few inches of my wife's wheel. I have no desire to be within feet of anyone else's. You are talking dominoes on group rides. No thanks.

I just learned more about dew point in another thread. A rarity around here.

Dew point = When it can't wait any more.

You have to learn something sometime..

Usually it occurs elsewhere.

75F dew point this evening. A few times my sunglasses started to fog up.

As if all the sweat wasn't bad enough . . . .

Now that's ironic....

Brett Favre has gotten fat.

For a modest fee I'll accept him at Camp Velo Vol and take care of that before the season starts.

This thread will soon pass a popular thread started in 2003. Remarkable how much time we have to do this instead of riding our bikes.

Yeah, I had it a while ago. If you got it quick it shouldn't be a problem. I didn't get mine real quick -- you get achy joints and feel like you have a flu, if you don't get it quick.

Hey, it wasn't bad enough to stop riding. I was in grad. school and commuted to campus on my bike. But, yeah it was a bit ick.
