I just don't think it's any better (albeit lighter) than my old $14 seat post. I never had slipping issues with it, and I have to tighten one screw against the other with one torqued to 80 nm? Come on now.

i have plastic Elite cages. I just can't believe plastic can be heavier than carbon fiber and that it matters functionally.

Hopefully my new saddle will be here today, free of charge. Sadly the new madones don't come with these saddles (bontrager inform RXL) so I won't be able to get freebie take offs anymore.

this thread is like a cheap daytime soap opera. pick it up anywhere and watch it from there. You won't find it too difficult to get the story line. there isn't one.
