Bike Forums - Addiction I

I started running recently with the hopes of running the ING half-marathon. by running I mean jogging and by jogging I mean something that is barely faster than walking. I ran through the park yesterday at a blistering pace of 13 minute miles, while the entire girls middle school cross country team skipped by me. My soul was thoroughly crushed.

Speed isn't everything :D Keep running, you'll get faster. It just takes time.

I use running as punishment for not waking up early to ride. I ran a record 4.2 miles yesterday in a blistering 53 minutes. I think people can walk faster than that. I'm getting addicted though considering when I last tried running, I was in high school and it took me 30 minutes to do a mile. 10 years later and I'm finally in some sort of shape.

nice. enjoy the ride and don't crash. i nearly did. the cervelo guy looked really scared as i rolled out on the s3. nearly a clipless fall.
