We are already sorry. |
Has anyone in the NYC area seen T Harris play? He's UT bound. We're looking forward to seeing him in Orange!

We watch 'Mad Men' not stupid sports.

Looks like a perfect 1st round draft-pick for the Knicks. |

Hey, if the Mets were a cycling team, maybe their name would be called RadioShack. :D |

Ugly stroke, big that apparently shoots a lot of 3's, fist pumping/show-boating in a H.S. game.
On the plus side he runs well for a big guy and supposedly is a good passer. He should be an impact player as a freshman. |

;) Piazza and Glavine were supposed to get the Mets another World Series title but failed... IMO, it's almost like team RadioShack (post-prime big names); maybe I'll be proven incorrect... edit: Almost forgot about Pedro... |

Maybe the fine Mets fans can help clarify the Mets/Yankees dynamic for a Twins fan - one of the asshats at work claims to be a Mets fan first, followed (in all of baseball) by being a Yankees fan second. Now, I'm of the opinion that, if you say you're a fan of both, you're not truly a fan of either - thoughts?

You want his address and likeness so you can send out the goons? |

I thought as much... if you want something that'll up your bile production even more, consider this - I once saw him cheer a player on his fantasy baseball roster when he hit a go-ahead home run against the Mets.
You want his address and likeness so you can send out the goons? Eff the stupid effing loser Mets. They suck. |

Then I considered how most New Yorkers probably only go to games as a social event anyway, and let it go. |

I just don't get the hate Mets & Yankees fans have for one another. Now as a Yankees fan I hate the Bosox, and as a Cowboys fan I hate the Redskins -- I mean vitriolic hate! But the mets? meh! Well maybe I can see the Mets hating the Yanks' success. But there's no reason for Yankee fans to hate the Mets. They're no threat. If anything, I have pity for them. |

If I wanted to waste even more time, I could dig up the posts in which Pcad publicly deliberated becoming a Yankees fan. I specifically recall because--as an SEC fan--the concept of sleeping with the enemy exploded my mind.
