Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

This thread will be like Al Sharpton and cockroaches, one of the few things that will survive the apocalypse. Although I'm starting to think Dick Cheney might make it too.

Don't be correcting gsteinb, he knows everything. Hey, my 16 year old daughter does too. That must come in handy.

The Ibis chain snapped at the top of the driveway. New chain time. Better at the top of the driveway than 20 miles from bumfark nowwhere, which is where I was riding today.

Well, OK, I think I've insulted other members repeatedly on this thread. Of course that's arguable, since anyone on this thread in the first place has to be a total idiot, and what's more, you know this.

hmmmmmmmmmmmm a utilitarian thread that was created in order to show the new purchase has now become a pointless thread with absolutely no discussion about the original topic.

How does this differ from any other Pcad Epic Thread? How can you derail the most entertaining threads on BF?

What the F else is everyone going to do around here if that happens?

Actually get on their bikes. Instead of taking pictures of them.

I'll have to deliberate on these serious issues. At least overnight. I would hate to act in haste.

You'll have to continue suffering until I reach my decision.

But even you must be suffering from this, p.

I rode 64...and was chased by a boxer. I dropped it easy-peasy.
