no you don't. riding is where it's at. only those who can't ride keep buying. just look at us. i barely made it to round my route yesterday and i was heaving up a lung and my legs dropped off. only 40 miles.

coasting 08-01-10 10:32 AM

is that the new cervlo s2? it looks not too bad. the white and red is much better than the black and red. cervelo finally trying to look good.

I really like the look of that PBK frame all built up. If I allow myself to build a new bike this year, that may be the one.

^^ What did that powertap run you? ^^

$500 w/o a headunit. But it was used. A new one will run you a bit more. The best deal for a new powertap right now is this http://www.competitivecyclist.com/za...=TRUE&RSS=TRUE. But it is wired.

Very nice. very nice indeed. I'm liking my 6700 more and more each ride.

Nevermind. I was thinking bout 200 .... :twitchy:

Training with power isn't cheap, but if you are going to race, it is worth it.

And the deal on my powertap was probably a fair bit lower than market value considering how new it was.

Hey Jen, do you have gum on your shoe too?

coasting 08-01-10 10:50 AM

going back to velo's maintenance discussions, I found out I have been wasting my time cleaning my chain in the past. Last couple of times I didn't bother cleaning and just wiped off the crud with a rag and then lubed it. The dirt came dripping out of the links and then when i wiped it off again, the chain was glistening clean as if I had just washed it. no more washing ever.
