Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

You'd be hard pressed to find a better picture of a dog, period.

I'd own a Newfie if they weren't so slobbery. Slobber Factor Five.

Some airline passengers simply aren't that bright.

How funny would it be if--in the next day or two--the news had a story about a flight to Greece being diverted, then they showed footage of Pcad being led away for questioning?

I see you're getting a lot of help with your vintage bike built. I guess no one disagrees with my suggestion of the Merckx MX Leader.

This is also an odd opportunity for BF comrades to meet.

If I met pcad at Heathrow, I'm not sure what I'd talk to him about. Bike schwag probably.

I think it would be fun to work on a bike that I didn't have to get together to ride right now. And having something of value/history would be cool.

But, I know nothing about old bikes.

I'd probe deeply to see what makes him tick.

interesting to see that most of what he "apologized" for when he begged to come back he's pretty much ignored

Hey Razor, I might rebuild a vintage bike. I just have to learn about them first to find one to do.

Miami always looks so nice on csi, but I never saw the nice parts of it driving through it.

I looked into working in Jacksonville back in the mid 80s. Went to the chamber of commerce to get info. I remember it being nice for what it was, but that was a long time ago, so my memory might be failing me. I do remember it smelled. Last few times through there, I don't think it did.

It doesn't smell anymore. Miami has culture and things to do. Jax has rednecks.
