Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

why not ask your question here...or make your life easier and PM someone here you think could answer it.

(My starting from a stop advice form your new bike thread was top notch)

It can't be that embarrassing

It did. I was kidding. Though I don't really understand how to read the pump. Sigh.

I think I went critical a day or so later.... I suppose everyone has limits. Good that it's done.

You have made your point if that's what it is. As previously stated, one version of Razor is enough.

I got bumped down from 4th top poster to 5th by Tulex. Coasting is coming in right behind me. I need to pick it up.

That said, the reason I haven't been posting much is because of top gear. It's just the same. And the same. And the same. Annoying.

Umd, give it up. He asked a question, I answered it.

My pump has a gauge on it and the little dial points to 110. If i pump until the needle hits the 110 it feels like it wants to explode.

At your size you probably don't need 110...try 90 front 100 back and see how it rides.

I'm still feeling like crap. When I go outside I feel better, but as soon as I go back in my own house it goes downhill. Strange.

So is that the reason? What's done is done. I'm just wondering if there is a rhyme or reason. I don't always get how moderation works around here.

For reference I ride 110 and I am 6' 200lbs. so th 90/100 might even be high, but I fear pinch flats and my roads aren't that bad.

Good points.

I wonder if the extra pages are because a bunch of posts have been deleted?

The car can tow up to 3500lbs (slowly). That's like 6 ACats and gear or a ski boat.

When I put the pump on the tire, does the needle point to whatever the current pressure is?

Somebody obviously reported him. Like I said before, I would have preferred to just ignore him, it would have been more fun to watch him spin his wheels and get bored.

Let a little air out of your tires before you start pumping to break the seal on the valve. Also, depending upon your pump, it may be harder to pump to higher pressures.
