Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

I like the bibs that are on here for the next half hour, if I had money, I would get a pair. They look awesome. Here's the link for anyone and everyone:

I think it's an old person thing. Up at at like 4AM, in bed before 7PM.

I guess so. I usually go to sleep around 11, get up around 8:30. I used to go to sleep around 3, get up around noon, but I like this schedule better. Summer schedule, that is.

I bought a set of cross tires too. They're for my grandfather's bike.

Related to the bibs, I also bought a pair of Castelli TM socks - they're pretty comfy.

That reminds me, midget, your parents won't let you race because of crashing fear, right? See if you can get a bike to race cross on, if possible. It's a lot less dangerous. You can't get too hurt crashing on mud after all.

What I didn't understand is why identical trolling was shut down after about 30 minutes in 33, but allowed to spew for days here?

I love cars... but you know what I love even more? Not needing one. Not having one. Not paying for one. Not paying for insurance for one (my zip code is one of the worst in the country, in terms of car insurance rates). My car, if I really need one, is a ZipCar account. Otherwise it's the feet, the bike, the subway or the cab.

I billed almost 10 hours today. Productive, unlike this place.

Because it's not trolling if no one complains. We didn't, they did.

Were you prowling at the LBS? Good for you.

Do you have a nice car, or do you not have to worry about the bike making a mess?

Depends. After the storm, it got boring with cars. Well, not boring if you are into cars. Me, not so much.

I wasn't. I got invited to go on a ride. I have a 2010 Jetta. The interior is black so it's easy.

They are pickled green beans, with a little bit of heat.
