What a great afternoon ride, came back in the dark/dust but got 25 miles in.

First time outside in about 5 days.

Velo Vol 03-16-10 06:20 PM

I didn't realize Pcad had posted a picture of him riding as a solicitation for bike fit critiques. I'll get my analysis up shortly.

I considered this at one point. I must really be going insane.

On another note, I just got back from a nice 30 mile ride at the park, 69 degrees. Since I jinxed it, it might be time for 2-a-days before it starts to snow again...

I hope that's a joke, because it was only got up to freakin' 50F here today.

If I have to buy one bit of bike crap every week or two to keep this thread going, this could get expensive.

I was wondering where in the city you were that it was 69....

Yet there are Road Nazis in the 33 who hate me.

They probably hate Nancy Pelosi too. I mean go figure.

It was about 60º on Mt. Doom in the shade this afternoon.

mzeffex 03-16-10 07:45 PM

It's warm - mid 50s-60s, but there's a lot of flooding where I was planning to ride. Plus I had SOLs today, so I slept in rather than going for a ride.

Ware 03-16-10 07:56 PM

What is/are SOLs?

I went out on Hains point. It was "closed" but everyone just rode around on the grass to get around the gates. Lots of debris and mud on the road in spots, but all the water had disappeared.

I was hoping to go along old town, on the mount vernon trail, but that's way too messy.

This El Nino stuff really does blow. Today is the first time we even got to 50 since Friday, and it's not supposed to be 60 here until Thursday.

Read it and weep Gomer. Chester weather for the next week or so:

This is Yahoo Weather. In keeping with its incredibly low standards, please note the weather forecast for 'tonight' is 'sunny'.

v70cat 03-17-10 05:39 AM

Looks like a nice day for another ride this afternoon.
