We moved to Mt. Doom the first weekend of April 1997. We were the only house up here at the time (the others had yet to be built). First weekend here, 20" of snow. It was like The Shining up here.

We like it. Between May 1 and Nov 1 it's like a summer vacation resort here. The coolest part is the road is so quiet and isolated the dogs can romp around the neighborhood, not worry about getting lost or hit by a car, etc. Nobody here minds. Neighbors are all very friendly.

Found a shot on the web of me and two team mates in Central park on 3.7.10. This is the view from the cheap seats. I'm the fat guy on the red Cervelo.

Seem like few guys where riding Cervelos that day. Nice picture.

The guy next to me is my pal Don, who rides a SLC SL with a Zipp 404 tubie front and a Zipp 808 tubie rear. If he trained at all, he'd be placing in these races. He's always flying someplace on business (you know, like China).

Maybe it is the angle but you look a bit stretched out.

Stretched out is good.

I haven't had a donut in ages.

You don't get a body like mine by accident.

I'll worry about the bike fit, you worry about promulgating this pointless thread.

I agree, its a great picture and it brings the Cervelo into this thread and maybe another 1000 posts!

Quel 03-16-10 05:10 PM

With any luck, one day I'm going to be an old guy diddling around on a cervelo with zipps, so I won't make any comments on this one.

mzeffex 03-16-10 05:24 PM

I saw an Addict with ultegra, same color as yours and all, at a shop today. It was nice.

If you were a Mets fan, this wouldn't scare you. For us, death would be merciful release.

Why not?
