funny how bike decoration can grow on you. i used to think bianchi green was disgusting, but it grew on me and now i like it. if only it wasn't associated with bianchi, i would use that colour on tape and tyres.

Hey Pcad,

CNBC has another special program coming up, especially for you! May 18.

I'm getting so skinny my own dog didn't recognize me this morning.

hey pcad

how much weight have you lost this year. I've only lost 3 kg since the start of the year and I just can't lose it any faster.

How the eff would I know? All I know is my summer shorts now fit. When they actually get loose, you're all in Big Trouble.

What a laugh riot this will all seem like when the next truck bomb kills 100+ tourists in Manhattan.

my bro is in NY right now. He keeps sending regular updates about how he is ok. We can't work out why, because that news has not had any airtime here.

Were you similarly amused by the terrorist subway deaths in London? Those cracked me right up too.

patentcad 05-04-10 06:22 AM

I'll be riding the Cervelo with the Dura Ace wheels for the first time today. It's another Excellent Pcad Bike Schwag Adventure.

don't know about NY but we get bomb scares all the time in London. so much so it doesn't even raise an eyebrow let alone a news story. A commute by underground is bound to be disrupted by some security incident several times a month. we are desensitised.

Hey Pcad, if you are trying to lose those last few pounds, I hear Ben Day has a tapeworm available for sale now.

Hey Gomer, since you display such a staggering incoherence regarding the significance of an attempted terrorist truck bomb in the middle of midtown Manhattan, perhaps you could share your savvy insights into the new Apple iPad on the thread regarding same in Foo.

That would be entertaining.

I know someone that tried the iPad, said it made them walk funny.

Velo Vol 05-04-10 08:35 AM

I don't know anything about the iPad, other than it is apparently a big screen version of the iPhone. Also, my comments were regarding CNN's coverage of the incident, not the incident.

Just think how much your weight has cost you--if you shed three or four pounds off you instead of taking it off the bike.

You mean the news anchors don't soil themselves on air? How novel.

patentcad 05-04-10 02:15 PM

The fear that this amateurish NYC bomb suspect had ties to Al Queda in Pakistan was a major factor in a global market sell-off today. Tens of billions of market equity went up in that Times Square smoke. And this for a mickey mouse bomb that didn't detonate or hurt anyone.

Yes, that's a major story when it's in Times friggin Square you Gomer Fred from Hell.
