Rode the S2 with the Ptap Zipp 404s and the Joule 2.0 last couple of days. Great race rig.

I'm ready for Saturday. Stupid Road Nazis. They're in Big Trouble.

I have no vice, so it looks like it will have to be the hard way, but I am not going to try it till the next time I take off the cassette anyways. Thanks for the advice.

Wow, these NCAA realignment rumors are wild. No one knows what is going to happen.

OK, maybe a handful of insiders do, but not many other people.

After my race, I plan to come back to Casa CAD, relax on the Mt. Doom Deck, and watch Sam snooze in the sun, which is considerably more exciting.

Rain, or the threat of rain, precluded me from Road Nazism this evening.

I shall ride again.

In the USA we play football with a pointy-ended ball and rarely touch it with our feet.

Hey Pcad,

Coasting says our "special relationship" may be in jeopardy because Englanders are mad that we are saying mean things about BP.

I say, "Who needs the UK?"

What do you say?

coasting 06-10-10 05:28 PM

i say settle it on the football pitch on saturday. loser pays for oil clean up.

Great. It would be fun to be on the receiving end of this, I think.

Here is a picture of me on my mtb crash ride 2 weeks ago, also note my new car!

How much more weight should I lose Pcad?

Pictures of my deck soon to follow!

You're fine.

That reminds me that in 8 pounds I can race lightweight crew. I don't want to, but I could!

Nice, what are you weighing in at these days? I need to lose some damn chub.

Where did you get that license plate?

Your not supposed to ride on muddy trails.

:wtf:

Forget losing weight, you can take off the reflector and then drink a horchata to make up for the loss of grams...

158. Still far too fat for this sport at 5' 9", but considering I was 187 2 months ago, this is awesome :thumb:

I'm actually slim now, which is cool.

And you can't call Razor out on that one, you aren't supposed to ride muddy trails. It messes them up for other riders.

mzeffex 06-10-10 06:48 PM

Also, I am going to join a team. It's awesome. They ride and are sponsored by the shop I now work at, I e-mailed someone about it and have talked in person with two members. There's also a junior who comes in fairly often who I have not talked to yet, but he seems about my age.

I'm really looking forward to it, that way I'll have to race :thumb:

Definitely racing in MA july 10 though.

Congrats on the weight lose. I went from like 150 to 120 at my lightest. I think I'm sitting at like 130 right now, but it is a lot more muscle than it used to be.

Sorry, I don't mtb, but I thought the whole point was to get out there and play in the mud. I guess you're right about messing it up though.

:thumb: Riding/racing with a team is freaking awesome - so much fun. I'm leaning more and more towards doing that 7/10 crit. One of my teammates is doing it, so I think you can count me in :)

Thanks, it's great. One of my friends doesn't believe I lost that much though.

It's fun, yeah, but it also messes it up. I've torn it up in the mud when I was itching to get out to the trails after a month of no riding due to snow.

Looking forward to it, and I want the kit. Sweeeeet. You better. It's a requirement, or something. Don't know if I'll be on the team by that point, but hoping to. I'm tempted to sign up ASAP as I see cat 5 races fill up a lot.

Register as soon as you have the cash. I've missed out on a couple of good races because I was lazy as hell and didn't pre reg.

Okay, well, I got paid today so as soon as the check cashes (Saturday?) I'm good. Are you definitely in?

I'm sitting here trying to de-crumple my crushed soul. The road Nazi's were especially angry this evening. I hate them.

Yes, but let me just double check with my mom that nothing is going on. Remember, you're going to need a uscf license or one day license.
