Anyone here run?
So I used to be in cross country in high school, but have probably run a straight mile no more than twice in the 10 years since then.
I figured then that being able to bike 60 miles and being able to ride at a hard pace for 30-40 minutes at a time that that should at least translate a little bit to running yeah?
However every time I try after maybe a 1/2 mile of running I just can't keep going and feel much more tired than if I'd been biking for much longer periods of time.
Has anyone else found that biking just does not translate into running at all?

Works the other way also.. I'm a runner and 5 miles running feels less taxing on me than 5 miles on the bike it seems. you do have a cardiovascular base though so your legs will have to adjust. I think a good cyclist would adjust pretty fast to running
