Thanks everybody. Your warm words are really appreciated.
I was expecting some critique towars -17 stem and 4 spacers under it.
But it fits me.
The bar and stem are Ritchey WCS. I have seatpost from the same shop and I will bring it back.

SandCrab- No worries on the matching wheel sets! It looks like Boyd's 2013 products will go up a bit in pricing. Not say I'd be making the purchase soon, but it certainly won't make the purchase any easier.

Same here. I was all set to order the team colors but when I saw it in person it actually looked nice. It's grown on me as well. It would look nice with a silver Thomson seat post I think.

If you're still in the market for a set of carbon clinchers a few months down the line, Boyd wheels are a solid choice. Paying $880 is easier to swallow than paying $1450 though. You can always find a set of carbon wheels for under $1000, the deals are out there when you decide to buy a set.
When the time comes, I'll certainly be on the look-out for a deal. I'm a deal hunter. I refuse to pay the retail price. How do Boyd's tubulars stack up against their clinchers? I'd like to ride and work with tubulars even if it's just for the experience. If I had the cash for a wheel upgrade, I'd certainly be considering any Boyd wheels. With tubulars only $700 or $720 and clinchers $880, that's not bad! Alas, my bank won't allow it!
sogocou- That's a wonderful CAAD! It looks great!

I should be getting a decent tax return, but it's not enough to purchase an $880 wheel set. $1450 is to steep considering where I am in cycling. At that price point, I'd almost just look for a set of last years Zipps. I noticed my LBS has several pretty good carbon wheel sets at 50%. My friend just purchased some new 2012 Zipp 808's for $1250... Last Zipps my LBS is stocking.

I see what you mean, and it is good to be smart with your funds. I have to admit the Boyd 2012 clearance looks good. The 38mm carbon clinchers are $840 right not with the 50 & 58 going for $880 add $20 if you require a higher (24-28) spoke count.

I don't think the hoods are adjusted to high. if you look, you can see that the hoods are nearly flat along the bar which means the bars are rotated up to high. My guess is that he has played around with the angle of the bar to reduce pain in the hands or wrists. Maybe didn't know how to loosen the hoods/shifters so he possibly loosened the stem and rotated the bars up?
could be wrong with the reasoning why, but hood placement doesn't appear to be the issue from what I can see.

Question for you guys:
How much should a 1994 polished aluminum R900 2.8 go for? I found one locally on craigslist and have seen some posted on here that have been cleaned up pretty nicely. It looks to be in ok condition and id probably be able to polish out alot of the minor scratches (except for the one on the fork). The guy selling it says it is his son's old bike and doesn't know much about it. I see that there are some 105 components on the bike that must have been replaced as the bike came with 600 Ultegra STI.
The only point of comparison I have for the price is a listing in another city for one in really good condition for $420:

By the way, this is would be my first road bike.
thanks in advance

+1 (This is exactly what I've done)
This is a really comfortable position for me....
Thnx a lot for the comments. I 'll try to fix my bars as soon as possible.......

You are right seymour
I 'm gonna mark the position of my bar so it will be very easy to get back my previous fitting settings
Thnx a lot for your comments
I m a newbie in road cycling and my caad10 is the first ever road bike.
I did the "fitting thing" by myself so forgive my little mistakes :-)

Don't worry, sogocou! I'm new to this as well, and my first road bike is my CAAD10
If I had fit myself, I probably wouldn't be in the "proper" position. The position my fitter set me up with (an aggressive racer position) was very awkward and slightly uncomfortable at first, but I'm adjusting to it. The main awkwardness was/is the reach to the hoods. I find that the most uncomfortable part of my position now is the saddle after about 10 miles. I don't want to think of doing a 50 mile ride on my current saddle, or 25 miles on these country roads.

Same here...
I have already changed my saddle. :-)
I know that caad10 is an "aggressive geometry" bike and I have to fit the bike like that but I prefer to get to the "right position" gradually.
Μy body is gonna need some time to get used to my new bike.

I personally love my 2013 10 5 with the green/blue/white scheme. More green and blue than the 2012. I had the choice between the two (bought right during the model year changeover in July) and I chose the 2013.

wanted it instead of my white/red, but they ran out by the time i had the money. Should definitely rotate your bars down or move the levers down though, looks kind of weird setup like that.
