My new CAAD10:

I absolutely love the ride of this frame. I bought the frameset only and moved over all of my own components, night and day from the specialized I was riding. It's an amazing bike. I do kind of wish I was able to get a black frame, I'm not totally sold on the raw, actually considering having it painted if anyone has any opinions on the best way to go about that.

That is, unless you want to go for some crazy custom paint job that isn't stock on CAAD10s, in which case I'd try to find a not-as-well-liked frame color and have it painted over.

Perhaps instead of having it painted, I'd try and trade it for a black frame. The raw frames seem to garner a lot of attention, just behind black frames. I'm sure you could find someone to switch you.

Nice CAAD 8 Floppysocks. How long you been on Okinawa? I am stationed here as well.
I have been here for 3 years, its a great place to ride.
Hit me up, we can go ride sometime.

I wouldn't paint it either. I have the raw and black CAAD10 and now I'm looking for paint to touch up a few minor scratches. I understand the Testor's model paint is the way to go. I'm guessing I should get the Gloss Black but the local art supply store was out of stock.

Ciao ,I'm 192 cm tall. The frame size is 63cm. I love Caad becouse is no slooping frame ( only 1cm slooping top tube ), and for tall riders no slooping frame I think is better.
For example Colnago and either italian brands did at first slooping frame only for smaller sizes.
