Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

I'm curious as to how many takes they did to get the urn to roll like that.

Yeah, I can relate. My cat2 friend I train with is 5'4" 133lbs, and he rides a 20lbs Cadd9, because his size small Felt FC team frame is on backorder, but he still drops me on the long climbs all the time. I can stay with him on short climbs, but the long ones he always drops me. This will get you halfway to loosing 10lbs. 11.1lbs, as shown.

my Caad 10 is 14.9 with my race wheels...that bike is not worth the 15k (or more) for 3.8lbs...i won't eat the day before, or something like that.

I agree, it ain't worth it, but it's more like twice your estimate. 10k frameset, 7.5k wheels, and every other part is beyond reasonably priced as well, like the $940 stem. 14.9 is pretty good, as much as you downplay bike weight, I would expect you to ride an 18lbs bike.

Jen, looking good in that Tri, crushing those idiot's souls. Well done!

In the spirit of jen's tri I took out the backup bike with the aerobars today...https://connect.garmin.com/activity/87825701

it looks like I died outbut it was really just a slight breeze out and against me coming back. Pretty good ride considering I have only been running for the last 2 weeks or so.

I'm not worthy. None of us Freds are worthy to be in the presence of such a cycling legend.

He even dedicates his photos to Wouter. Does his greatness know no bounds?
