Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

I wish to see the infamous bf exiles.

I wish cycling would cut my weight down faster, even though I know this is impossible since i only do 20 minute commutes.

I wish I was 165 but i'm 30 lbs from it

I wish this thread keeps going

Other than LA, and 1 or 2 others, I wouldn't recognize pro racers if they stood right in front of me . . . in kit.

And don't care.

You'd not only recognize me if I stood right in front of you, you'd probably call the cops and report me for flashing.

I wish I could think of threads like this.

I want to be pro, but I'm 26. I started this sport too late.

Now going back to page 2 to continue reading.

Bikes: Have two wheels

I started a bicycle overhaul project at the beginning of Spring instead of during the Winter.

I train strictly to blow out the hammerheads that lead the group ride and will spend any amount of money on my bike and self to do so.

I am way too competitive.

I am way too old to be this competitive.

I drop my girlfriend when riding with her

I would rather ride than hang out with my friends, so I got new friends that ride.

I would love to wear these [/img]https://www.techpin.com/wp-content/uploads/2008/10/skull-candy-headphones-skull-candy-ti-headphones-6.jpg[img]

I made my first successful living by building lift kits for these https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O0gKiyIN_6Q yes I shot this video...and im ashamed of it but i got rich off this

I hate Shimano stuff because I had a boss at a former job who rode nothing but and always talked about Shimano components. I didn't like him and for some reason Shimano reminds me off him. I avoid Shimano. I built my current roadbike avoiding all Shimano components even if it mean missing out on a sale and paying more for Sram stuff. The only Shimano part on my bike is the FD braze on bracket and I don't like it.

On a century ride, I once followed a woman for about 20 miles because her ass was spectacular.

I talk nicely to my bike. I say: "How're you today, honey? Ready for a little ridey-widey?"

But the love is unrequited. It usually responds with something like: "Shut up, dirt bag, you're fat and I'm embarrassed to be seen with you. Let's get this over with."

I feel the same way about Nordstrom for the same reasons (except it was some of my frat brothers who were the snobs). Can't stand that freaking store.
