Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

I make up most of the stuff I post in here, esp. in the mechanics forum.

I like the way I look in spandex.

I yell at cyclists when I see them blow stop signs.

I believe that unless you are getting paid to race, men should never shave their legs...and even then it's pretty silly and has no impact on speed.

I feel that I'm too fat and slow to wear my one matching kit as I feel like everyone will think I'm a poser.

When you're not home, I fart on your pillow and p33 in your toilet tank, so it's still yellow when you flush.

I don't know what a criterium is and think it sounds made-up and pompous.

I hear lots of people talking about racing bicycles but I've never heard anyone talk about WINNING.

I bought a new bike because of the payment plan.
