Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Bikes: Have two wheels

I like that the average snow fall where I live is 10', even though it means I have to use a trainer in the winter months.

I do not know what his latest acquisition was (don't have the patience to read his thread) so I don't know whether I covet it or not.

I'm jealous of Pcad's post count.

Until two months ago I required my bike, kit, helmet, shoes, and Garmin Edge 500 to all match.

I shave my legs purely out of vanity.

My bike is a Motobecane.

I know it's not an authentic Motobecane.

I bought it new...from BD.

It doesn't bother me.

Bikes: A trek

I built myself a bike instead of getting a car like all my friends did.

I want a fkn TT bike for the bling of it.

Bikes: Have two wheels

Sometimes I wear regular athletic socks when I ride, instead of cycling socks.

I want a confession from pcad... even though i have no idea who he is

this thread is awesome.

I like to glare at my bikes lovingly before riding/cleaning/sleeping with them...

My wife has NO idea what my bikes cost, nor about the 2 on the way...

I think the pinarello prince looks like it ran through a trail of hot coal and the specialized roubiax looks like a bike with arthritis...
