I'm sure that they still make a few rolls of film up there.

That's what passes for cutting edge in upstate NY. Well, ok, it did until they stopped making the film.

Just you wait - the hipsters rejuvenated vinyl production and they'll do the same for film as they rebel against this uncool "digital" stuff. You'll see.

...but, since we're on the subject, some deep pockets do care. Like this guy that spent $500k on a custom sensor used only to take test shots before reverting to film for the final product. Yeah, spent $500k on a sensor to save money on film... ouch.

Almost nobody. If absolutely nobody cared, we'd be out of business, but essentially, nobody really could give flying fark. Nor would 95% of people know good graphics from terrible graphics.

I take pretty decent product pics with a particular soft spot for food and drink - does that mean that I care? I think it does... but what do I know?

so I think I have officially hit that point where I realize why most everybody is such a sourpuss in here. I hadn't been on here in like 2 or 3 weeks. Come back and all the new threads are pretty much lame. So this is me apologizing for me first few newb threads. Buddha christ we need something better to talk about.
so I've never done the Black Friday thing. thinking about it this year. Is it worth it? I don't really NEED anything...but like a new bike...a better T.V. is always cool.
