Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Probably not, doesn't matter to me though. I just appreciate people going through the trouble to provide us with a place to race safely. One Ohio race director used to give out expired Cytomax and expired power bar type goodies. For winning a race I once received a tube.

They won't have my type in the 33.

Love Lexus Toyota in St. Albans WV. I've bought several Toyotas from them, only one Lexus so far.

Never change.

I'm the only one who gets it, apparently.

If you're going to have a podium and pose for photos, you've got to have podium girls. It's like decorating your house for Christmas, but not putting up a tree.

At the marathon, fewer than 1/3 of the competitors bothered to come collect their medals @ the ceremony. I kinda figured 1/3 were in the hospital and another third were crippled but recovering without the help of medical professionals.

Well it is really, but you're too dense to comprehend somethings.

26.8mph yeah that is anything but slow. With 308ft of elevation change, a light bike matter not. Two things matter, aero, and power. I wish you would of had your power meter on. The power numbers would be interesting. Either way congratulations great ride.

In the overall medal presentation only one of 6 Gold, Silver, Bronze for both Men and Women collected her medal. More started showing up for age group medals, presumably cuz they didn't kill themselves trying for the overall.

Everyone got a medal for participation also, but they were less fancy.
