Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Well, it's a 200 and I got it for like $75 after rebates and sale discounts.

So, I'm still cheap.

Why do you need anything beyond this for riding the trainer?

Just got back from a weekend away to awesomeness.

We had a girl house sitting/ animal sitting for us. She is 19 and works in my office. When she was 16 her dad died.
A year and a half later her mom got colon cancer and had a year of chemo (doing good now). She was lost for a bit and my wife took her under her wing. We don't have kids of our own, so she and her older brother became sort of adoptive family.

Anyway when we got back tonight, we found pictures of her and her brother all over our house mixed into our family pictures. Very funny but also touching.

I've been getting minor soreness on my left outer knee after some rides. Gonna practice what I preach and am hoping to see a fitter this week. I'm guessing my left leg is a tad shorter than my right.

Your issues can be altogether different given the stress you just put your body under. You taking tomorrow off?

I am way too cheap for a garmin.

For now, using the Strava app with my iPhone 4 which works reasonably well.

As a bonus, there is also a Strava running app.

I use an app for running too. I might stop, because I don't really like having my phone strapped to my arm will I'm running.
