Do you use the "well, I can't get up - I've got an animal on my lap," excuse, too? The cats have long been unwitting tools of procrastination in the WhyFi household.

Either I've just gotten used to him, or this iPhone 5 is better than I thought. My Miyataman translator is working great.

Ugh, packing again to move again... it's been damn near a year that we've been in a state of moving.

Yeah, the trickle of misinformation was pretty bad yesterday. I think that it was partly a get-the-scoop-or-be-scooped mentality paired with a desire to make sense of something that defies sense.

On a far happier subject, Hobbit was EPIC, in the literal sense of the word. Amazing, amazing movie. Saw it in IMAX 3D and was completely entranced. Go see it.

internal cabling Ti?
what brand is that? |
on today's ride, I was climbing and noticed that I was slightly pushing forward on the downstroke. I culd move the saddle forward a bit but that would be slammed all the way forward. i have a richey wcs seatpost which is think is 2cm set back, so i think i definitely need to start looking for an in-line seatpost.

Why so quick? Did you find a house?
Oh, and to make the schedule really fun, not only do we get to move and then run around visiting family for Christmas, but we're also leaving on a road trip to VA on the 29th. Eff me. |
Those guys kicked my ass today. Still, 47 miles, 4000 vertical feet and 1900 calories burned. That doesn't suck. Longest ride in a while. It was freezing. I liked it.
I'm so fat and slow. But with this kind of endorphin buzz, who cares? That ride rocked. Good to be out there man. |
I need an app so I can post the same bull**** here and on FB. It's too much work doing this manually.

Somehow I seriously doubt the founding fathers would have worded the 2nd amendment the same way had they seen the killing power of a modern handgun in the hands of a 21st century lunatic. In an elementary school classroom no less. Remember that in the late 18th century they had musket loaders and dueling pistols. Hardly in the same category as the modern weaponry today.
The gun culture in this nation is utterly out of friggin control, and completely insane. |

I havent had the flu in a few years, but man oh man this sucks. I dont remember it this bad. Hardly slept a wink last night as my body went into perpetual bowel siphon mode. |
Like that blogger, I've had it. The gun nuts and the NRA can totally blow me. I'm very angry about this. Time to take our nation back from these whackjobs. How many more of our CHILDREN have to die like this? |
It really defies reality. Twenty couples had their child dropped off at school yesterday. Six adults prepared for another day of work, leaving family behind to teach and care for our young ones. How could any of them considered the horror that awaited in this place we trust to be a safe environment for he teaching of our young ones. Today 26 families awaken to a day where their child, mother or father have been killed. Mind numbing to say the least. And yet we all know little to nothing will change, all our politicians afraid to take a stance.

We've been feeding him the Lamb and Rice (so I guess not grain free?) variety of Purina 1 since about forever (he's almost 12). He also eats anything that gets near the edge of the counter/dining room table/stove/grill shelf, etc. The dinovite seems to be working.
If this is the formula you are feeding, lamb is the first ingredient which is a good thing. The rest of the ingredients go downhill after lamb. Lamb (natural source of glucosamine), brewers rice, corn gluten meal, whole grain corn, poultry by-product meal (natural source of glucosamine), oat meal, animal fat preserved with mixed-tocopherols (form of Vitamin E), soy flakes, whole grain wheat, soybean meal, calcium phosphate, glycerin, animal digest, calcium carbonate, salt, potassium chloride, caramel color, Vitamin E supplement, choline chloride, zinc sulfate, L-Lysine monohydrochloride, ferrous sulfate, sulfur, manganese sulfate, niacin, Vitamin A supplement, calcium pantothenate, thiamine mononitrate, copper sulfate, riboflavin supplement, Vitamin B-12 supplement, pyridoxine hydrochloride, garlic oil, folic acid, Vitamin D-3 supplement, calcium iodate, biotin, menadione sodium bisulfite complex (source of Vitamin K activity), sodium selenite. S-4162 Dogs are carnivores - corn is a cheap filler. I would stay away from wheat and by-products not to mention soybean. I like Fromm Family - they have their own manufacturing facilities. http://frommfamily.com/products/four...me-bird-recipe Compare the ingredients between Purina and Fromm - you'll see what I'm talking about. Any dog can become allergic to eating the same food day in and out. Perhaps try salmon or the game bird recipe. Each dog is different and will react differently. What works for one dog, might not work for another - it's trial & error. Perhaps he's allergic to lamb. Try another protein. FYI - older dogs need high protein. It's false info when they say older dogs do not need as much protein as a younger dog - in fact, they need more. Most Vets know zippo about nutrition. Real food from the table is good as long as there isn't onions. It's a good idea to rotate food. http://www.seniordogs.com/articles-s...allergies.html http://healthypets.mercola.com/sites/healthypets/archive/2009/07/02/does-your-pet-have-allergies-what-you-need-to-know-and-do.aspx |
