I hate hate HATE wet tracks. My last crash was on them, about a year ago.

I practically stop at wet tracks now.

Must be some crappy platforms then. I like my platforms in the rain as they allow me to wear these boots and to have warmer, drier feet than 95% of cyclists on the road.

Incredible weather in Chicago! 60F today! 65F tomorrow! Did 35 miles this morning. Time to finish hanging the outside lights.

Bummer.

Get some more miles under your belt and you'll know to look out for that hazard.

Another option is dialing it up to 400 W and bunnyhopping those tracks!

I'm envious of the Jets' QB situation.

Hairy legs, miners light, leather boots, dear Lord what are you thinking?
As an aside you look remarkably like Sol on Showtimes "Homeland".

If you haven't tried Merino wool as your first base layer, then you're and idiot. I was an idiot until last week. Now I'm a warm idiot...Try it. That is all..

I use a long-sleeve Smartwool mid-weight base layer in the winter. Very comfortable.

Also, all of my socks, except a couple pair of dress socks, are merino wool.

Rain in TO.

I cleaned the apartment. Now I am digesting curry pad thai prior to climbing on the trainer and watching episode 2 of LEXX.

LC it is Rat Terroirist not Terrier; if you have owned a Terrier you will agree.
