More for making a scary sound should I be awakened in the night by someone downstairs that was not invited..... and protection during the zombie apocalypse.

I keep a 870 Remington under the couch, a Glock 17 in my underwear drawer, with 4 loaded mags. AR-15 in the closet, with 14 loaded mags, and a Ruger .380 LCP in the truck.

I keep two miniature schnauzers in my house. And a few cats. They'll protect me.

You can never be too safe, amiright?

LowCel 12-09-12 06:58 PM

Glock 30 in my car, Glock 23 under the couch, Glock 26 on the night stand beside the bed, AR15 under the bed, 22 pistol in the computer room, 22 pistol in the fish room, and 22 pistol in the pool room.

All of this just to back up the dual rat terrier alarm system.

runwiththewind is a grrl?

Soloist Assassin 12-09-12 07:02 PM

Oh yeah, the poodle makes an excellent alarm too btw. He is a great guard dog, he sounds bigger, and meaner than he is.

I txted her again at 8:20am after my leg press workout. She didn't respond until 9:10 I think. So I had no contact with her from 6:48pm-9:10am. Definitely reason to be alarmed. She also lives 1:20 away, so I worry a bit more than if she lived around the corner.

Sorry if the mental issue sentence offended you. That is why I used the word most. I do know a few level headed women, they are definitely the minority however. You seem pretty level headed, as does TS, and Makel. Hell we all have issues. I am no saint. I'd like to think I am a great boyfriend, however. I've really been there for my girlfriend in a lot of ways. Helping with her depression, and her day, and all that. I'd literally do almost anything for her. I've really put my life to the sideline a bit recently to help her, and it will be nice to focus on myself a bit. We've decided to go back to just dating at this point. Which I am okay with. We've both rushed into this a bit too fast, we both admit. I stole her away from a ****ty relationship, and she has had many of those prior. So I will no longer be referring to her as Ms. Solo, or my girlfriend. She is just a girl I am dating at this point. I am okay with that. I am pretty confident if I back off she will realize how good of a bf, I am. So I am not selling the Ruby just yet.

We know.

I looked it up for accuracy sake. That isn't bad. I called once, txted twice, and went to bed. I then woke up worried. She usually txts me every night before she goes to bed. So that was the reason for concern. Why am I even responding to you about this?

A few weeks back, the glass front entry door at work shattered. When I was told about it, I immediately broke out the quote I had on hand for a steel security door with a small visibility window. People wanted to know why I had a quote ready to go without calling anyone in, and my answer was simple: in the event of a zombie apocalypse, the building is secure except for that glass door. I explained my plan to the owner's daughter, and we ordered the door.

Let the record show that five minutes elapsed between my post and Soloist's response.

Should I be concerned?

Hang in there RUOkie.

Hang in there Solo.

I should be a therapist. Actually someone once told me I should do some work for the samaritans because I'm quite good at the sympathy talk (though you wouldn't believe it on BF). I thought it would be a bad idea because sometimes I feel like saying, " Go ahead and jump".

Sure. But we're only second percentile.

Soloist Assassin 12-09-12 08:15 PM

So, I took down the pic of us together as my wallpaper on my phone. It is back to the pic that is my BF avatar now. It still changes to the ridiculous cleavage shot in the v neck dress when she calls. If she isn't my girlfriend though, she shouldn't be my wallpaper.
