my preference is for separates, and solids. i have one club jersey that is only worn on rides with that group because otherwise it feels too flashy.
is that the only kit she has? it doesn't really matter if there's nothing else for her to switch around with. She's going to have a kit and a matching fancy bike. Looks like a pro. luckily the outfit is not a team kit. |
just because we change someone's avatar doesn't mean they can't change it back. Stating the obvious because this is the 41

Re: Apparel matching, solids, patterns. I clash whenever possible to be seen, and now it is more of a personal style. This jersey goes with nothing I own. The camera angle makes me look like Johnny Bravo.
As Steven Wright once said about his socks: "I don't match by color, I match by thickness." https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-F...0/IMAG0009.jpg |

do you like your bibs/shorts to be independent of your jersey?
Nah. Skinsuits only. |

You mean I could be changing my avatar willy-nilly? I've had the same one this whole time...
|
My jersey selection criteria:
Must fit Price must be heavily discounted Color/design should be bright for visibility Bibs should be black or mostly black. |

Solo said this has been going on for 12 years and she always finds him. Restraining order??? This qualifies for Ripley's Believe It Or Not. He's not willing to change his number, block her number, etc. I know we will be reading about his situation for years to come. I hope Bentley will adjust to having a nut job as his new Mum and little Solo's running around the house. I know dogs are forgiving, but Bentley doesn't deserve this type of life.:( http://bikeforums.net/attachment.php...hmentid=289411 I've changed my numbers before. I've cut ties with her many times. It doesn't matter she always comes back. She lives an hour away, but it doesnt matter she would just randomly run into me in public somewhere. I talked to her today, and I addressed all of my concerns. She has an answer for everything as you all would expect. I stuck to my guns and I said all I had to say. She denied everything, made it out like I was the crazy one that I made this all up in my head. She said we were never in a relationship yet she asked my mom what she thought about us moving in together. She knows in her heart the truth. I doubt she will ever admit it however. It's all over now. Nothing more to post about. It's time to move on with my life. |

You shouldn't have any regrets breaking it off. If you don't frequent the places you both have gone to, not to mention you live 1 hr. away, there is no way you can run into each other in a public place. Heck, my cousin lives 10 min. from me & I've never run into her nor the folks I worked with who live close-by. If you don't want to change your phone#, block her number. I block folks from emailing me. If you ever run into her, just keep walking and don't stop to ask how's she's doing. Best of luck with your new life - I think you'll enjoy the ride! Life is short, have fun. P.S. Mel Brooks (Bart) in "Blazing Saddles" "Work here is done. I'm needed elsewhere now. I'm needed wherever outlaws rule the West, wherever innocent women and children are afraid to walk the streets, wherever a man cannot live in simple dignity, wherever a people cry out for justice. I am going to miss this arc. Now, back to Pcad's weight and Lester's Avatar Nation.
|
And we're off to the closing on the house! Have a fun day, ladies and gents.

Does it handle well enough to endure the ribbing that comes with ownership? The carbon version is a little less ugly - it looks more like a bike, and less like an item of playground equipment. But less ugly does not mean not ugly. Weird how I've ridden two of the three ugliest road bikes ever made. I've yet to ride a Softride (although I have seen one). I spent a few days on a rental Mrazek though - that bike was hideous. Who wants to organize the pool for when Solo backslides again? 'Cause I believe the "never again" protestation like I believe in the nice piece of hilltop Florida real estate with a great view of the IM course. George Lucas went back for the sequels, and mark my words, this one will be back too. DG |
Solo, you remained pretty darn calm while sharing sensitive information about your life in this of all places. I wouldn't have done it, but kudos to you. I for one am betting on the moving on versus the backslide.
