friends are absolved because they all thought he was going to go either last night or today. one checked in last night and thought we were headed to a hospital, and two texted me this morning. an ambulance had been called at the park and they checked him over and let him go. he knows that he can decline a ride from the many times he's done the same at the track. that's part of the problem, he's hit his head a bunch of times so he thinks he knows he's ok. not sure what else i can do besides keep an eye on him.
