after what shovel did last year with effectively no teammates was incredible. Teaming him up with gsteinb just isn't fair to the competition.

I don't race, never have and never will. I do like watching them though. And I do respect those that do it, takes a lot of time, discipline and effort.

My boss would not permit a second bike ride this weekend, even in spite of the holiday, so I went for a run instead. Running is still stupid, but better than nothing. I am even getting faster, got my 'go all day' pace down to approx 8:00 per mile.

Oh, I finally got a new CD player, set it up in the man cave. Sounds really good. It's a gently used NAD I got off scambay.

Snowshoeing two days in a row. That's more than all of last winter.

Benson can move through 6-8 inches of snow more quickly than me, but she does wait for me to catch up ocassionally.

You should be ashamed of yourself.

Mine handles like crap though there are others that handle much better. You still won't get anything that's nimble like a race bike. However, these are much more fun at lower speeds -- you can come to a complete stop without unclipping and it doesn't bug people if you maneuver them at low speeds through crowded areas.
