The carnitas and barbacoa are better than the steak at Chipotle, IMO.

There will no more talk of such from this day forward.

My New Year's resolution is no more Domino's Pizza. I give that one until the NFC title game.

You'll never make it that far.

Furnace installed. Little smokey after the initial burn.

Can't you get respectable pizza an hour out of NYC?

did you avoid freezing in the interim?

we replaced an oil burning furnace with gas about a month ago. i was told a little smoke was normal. ours didn't smoke but it certainly smelled like something burning off for at least a day. the jet engine-like blower also caused most of our house to be covered in a fine layer of soot. they didn't warn us to get the vents cleaned.

You'd think that one would be easy. Their stuff is as appealing as chewing tobacco. Though I understand that many people get addicted to that too...

coasting 12-31-12 12:43 PM

you people have septic tanks and furnaces.

Do you get your water from a well, too?

I don't think that it even dipped more than 6 degrees during the install. We're going from old gas to newfangled 96% efficient gas. Fan seems to move about the same amount of air as the last one, but with less noise. No soot was mentioned.

Only the posters that live outside of civilization have septic tanks. What, no need for a furnace in Taiwan?

at some point, i think in the 60s or 70s they started building subdivisions around our house and we were put on the village sewer/water.

there's some kind of leftover septic field in the backyard. the grass (well, weeds) is always greenest there.
