Yes but as far as we know my mother-in-law is fine. As long as that is true we are blessed.

Glad to hear... everything else is just "stuff" that can be replaced. People cannot.

Yikes LowCel!

Hope all of your peeps are okay.

... and that your stuff didn't get singed.

If LowCel's bikes were titanium, he wouldn't have to worry about them melting. I'm just sayin'.

I'm fine with my stuff getting burned as long as my family and dog's are okay. I spoke with my neighbor, things are fine at my house. I just can't get there.

I'm not worried about them now. My priorities aren't that far out of whack. That's what insurance is for.

The answer is obvious.

I've been in all kindsa mines. Can't remember the one in WV, Pipestem park, maybe? Was there a coal mine there? I've got old man memory.

My favorite mine was just a couple miles away from our house in Phoenix. Super scary, rusty ladder going down the vertical shaft, then you had to jump off the ladder over to the horizontal shafts. I always wanted to bring ropes to further explore down the vertical shaft but never got around to it. Been filled in and covered with a subdivision by now, I'm sure.

I've decided to adopt this philosophy in life from here on out...

I've been in a museum that has a coal mine exhibit.

Road is now melted, that is I-77 so it is going to be a pretty big pain in the butt for a lot of people. It's amazing what large natural gas lines can do when there is a spark.

There are mines everywhere in this state so one near Pipestem park would certainly be a possibility.

LesterOfPuppets 12-11-12 02:06 PM

Beckley Mine, that's the one.

If the highway is closed for a stretch you should sneak on with your bike for an epic ride (except for the melted part, of course).

Oops.

I'd love to cruise down the middle of I-75/40 like I was king of the road.
