I am impressed that you can do that on the rollers.

idk what to think about her. She told me just last weekend I was too perfect.

For not being there for her.

Solo, if you are incapable of recognising what you need (when everybody else here can), what makes you think you can diagnose what she needs?

DG

I am fine. I can walk away from this and I'll be just fine. The only way I would go to therapy is to help her. If she is no longer a big part of my life, I will go on just fine. Maybe I should date someone else. The thing I always liked about dating everyone else I ever dated, is I didn't care like at all. It made things a lot easier.

I agree. You don't need therapy at all. :roflmao2:

Here's an idea. I'm not in the military and I don't want to pretend that I am.

I got over that by age 10.
Not sure if the implication here is that those actually in the military are mentally 10 years old...

But that other thing - the part about "non-hunting gun owners being afraid" - that's bang on correct.

Man, I lived in an armed encampment in downtown Kandahar City, in the worst part of the most dangerous city in the world, during an actual war, and I had:

- a 9mm Browning pistol with 2 mags (26 rounds) on me at all times; and
- a C7A2 (M16 variant) with 10 mags and 2 grenades, stored at my battle station, that came with me outside the wire.

That's it.

The threat assessment for suburban Ohio - or for that matter, anywhere else in the USA - is markedly less. Anything more than a single pistol and a single mag is ludicrous, and I'm being generous with the pistol allowance.

If you want more than that, you have fear issues, plain and simple.

DG

For too long, too many people have hated the Shift key. Well, I for one am tired of this shameful practice. We should all embrace the potent power of both cases, and correct punctuation. It's time for the Shift key, and the Alt key, and yes, even the Ctrl key, to have a seat at the table, or the rollers. We can still exclude the Windows key, but for the others, enough is enough.

SA, just for fun, look up "Borderline Personality Disorder" on wikipedia or another reputable site.

See if this sounds familiar and report back to us.

You can't protect yourself from the United States government with just one gun.

You can't protect yourself from the United States government with just one gun.
That's the biggest scam that the Second Amendment ever pulled; the idea that the last line of defence between a citizen and a government is a gun.

Thanks to that, those who disagree with and/or fear their government stockpile weapons instead of doing useful things, like organizing political parties or running for office.

There's nothing more useless than bringing a gun to a lobbyist fight.

Citizen's United? Yeah, that's OK. But don't touch our guns!!!

Someone accused me of having a personality once. Then they got to know me.

Sounds like you're asking me? I'm not married, but I don't sleep with my bike.

Well, thats because you were in an ARMED ENCAMPMENT where EVERYBODY was packing, ammo dumps within a 5 min walk, parking lots full of armored Humvees with mounted mini-guns, and reinforcements plus hail Mary air support is only a satellite phone call away.

In rural Ohio, its only you and Freddy, the other gun nut two blocks over with the funny twitch, who will solely be responsible for saving all the single and attractive married women from the zombie onslaught. I say Solo is underarmed.
