If this were Blazing Saddles, this post would warrant a Harrumph.

p.s. I googled it and some cooking forum folks say several months or even a year.

that's what i figured, thank you for confirming.

So I rode 49 miles with the club...then ran 3 miles during my daughter's french horn lesson...now trying to see if I have enough energy left to go swim in the pool.

Maybe not. I am turning into a real slacker.

I followed her "progress" as she moved through the event, posting updates, "over there" while she was on the course. I really want to believe that my friend Jen, did what she claimed she did. But without an explanation it has become very hard to keep on believing.
I would also like to point out that no one has mentioned the silent collateral damage in all of this. He never did anything to deserve all this negativity. Poor, poor, Oscar. He has to bear the shame of it all, Iron man sticker, tri bars. etc. now this? Poor little guy.

Yeah, it's a bummer.

Just to see, I went to the ironman site and checked on the results, hers are all zeroed out, which I think means she was DQ'd. I don't know if she asked for this or if the refs dq'd her.

I feel bad about the whole thing and still wish Jen would come clean about what happened and rejoin the 41.

Maybe some day.

Not sure why everyone is still all atwitter about the triathlon thing. In my opinion, that wasn't even the most fascinating inconsistency that I noticed.

But at any rate, shouldn't the Razor Rule kick in sometime? How many more weeks/months are you people going to keep piling on someone's character when she's not here to respond?

I think that this was all pent up from not talking about it before.

Arguably the best woodworking/DIY forum out there. I was a former moderator for a handful of years. It's hosted by August Home - the publishers of Woodsmith, ShopNotes, etc.

Here's a saw blade tower I made earlier in the year:

I'm really behind in making all the Christmas presents.

Certainly different, definitely more interesting and better executed. Might be a little over-the-top in terms of flavor profiles for day-to-day consumption.

Cool - I'll check it out. Sooner or later, I want to get to the point where I have a hand in the construction of any new furniture in the house.

Oh well. If you were post-menopausal I'd introduce you to an older buddy of mine.

That's where Ive been for a while. Well I should say we dont buy any furniture and havent for years. Although the projects havent been so forthcoming. Maybe if I stopped cycling with all my free time? Not. Woodworking is more of a winter sport for me anyway.

I made this valance for one of our windows in a spare bedroom a handful of years back. Still need to make a half dozen more or so. Thankfully my wife's VERY patient.
