And in the midst of SA grabbing all the attention with his fb-style drama a couple months back, who was it that directly pointed to same and immediately began competing for more attention?

And then all of a sudden, out of nowhere, the attention queen was running an ironman . . . . apparently with just minimum training, because as we all should know, if she had been training for that all summer we would have heard about it ad nauseum.

So yeah, if you ask me all the regulars here should be pissed because of the faith and support that was betrayed with deceit . . . just to get more attention.

Puleeeze!

Are you sure about that. I'm-a thinking pcad would come in a close second, maybe even win.

Oh well, just going to think of a picture of a female triathlete with that silly picture-taken-in-the-bathroom-mirror pouty face and really weird tan lines.

I never did get an answer as to what happened to botto though. For a while I thought he was Pcad's alter-ego, the Hyde to his Jekyll.

Botto's still out there, much less likely to post but still about.

Vague post is vague.

How about Psimet? Haven't seen him either. How long was I gone fer cryin' oot lood?

It's like I showed up at the wrong class reunion.

In the girl's defense that soloist fella *was* stealing all her limelight with his high drama. What's a girl supposed to do anyway, just give up the crown? She did what she had to do. If anything it's soloist's fault.

I will require 40 tacos to undergo such research. 20 now and 20 more due upon completion.

31 miles today at a brisk pace, felt good. Windy as hell. I'm getting a little skinnier, that helps.

I don't know if ijen cheated, but based on those ST threads, it certainly seems so. I never would have predicted this one. Until this and Rutgers' article, I didn't know this stuff was an issue. Some of us have known her since she joined BF.

Internet naivete on my part. She's all over the internet, which I didn't know either.

Every time that I see your screen name, gsteinb, I picture the George Steinbrenner caricature from Seinfeld. Seen only from behind, you are a white haired guy with no face, who sends George out to get special sandwiches. And I think to myself, wow, this guy races bicycles and owns the New York Yankees, and was on several seasons of Seinfeld. Now you tell me that you met your wife on Face Book, so I know that George Steinbrenner met his wife on FaceBook. As important as you are, you probably have that geeky little twerp who invented FaceBook over for your anniversary celebrations, which clearly explains why I never get invited. And you can drop PCAD at will. Oh snap.

So you're right, you are clearly not my imaginary friend.

RollCNY 12-05-12 05:02 PM

And does this mean that the Murse is a mythical creature?

What's the forum? With the impending close on the house, I'm going to finally start piecing together a shop (after about 10 years of yearning).

I find outside opinions of American happenings to be really interesting; I love hearing stuff like BBC coverage on the US - it offers perspective.

How did they get in the car in the first place? Can someone offer any credible explanation? I'd even settle for someone credible offering any explanation.

That is clearly a made up story.

The Daily Cricket? Really? That's your first clue.

Bobby Bou? Journalist? Made up name.

Mice? Fictitious creatures.

Hyundai Elantras? Don't get 40 MPG.

Foxboro? Not enough capacity for all of those fat people. No longer exists. Made up location.

Question: is the Daily Cricket a satire/parody site? 'Cause this is just too good to be true -

“He drink all morning,” said Chan. “He get crazy. I tell him no more beer for you and he throw Pu-Pu platter at waitress. He a very bad man. He broke very expensive mirror!”
