Not sure why everyone is still all atwitter about the triathlon thing. In my opinion, that wasn't even the most fascinating inconsistency that I noticed.
But at any rate, shouldn't the Razor Rule kick in sometime? How many more weeks/months are you people going to keep piling on someone's character when she's not here to respond? |

My mp3 player I sometimes bring has a 5-band software EQ, does that qualify as a sound system?

Oh, then no. I do not, would not.

Hehe. Surprisingly, no. I somehow convinced her that anything I can make is better than what you can buy at Ikea or Target or even at some better places. However that single valance wouldve been a couple hundred $$$ by itself from a custom online order place, so once you get beyond the shop setup costs, there are some economies realized, especially if your shop helps you in your other DIY efforts.
I do thoroughly enjoy it, and my woodshop does fight for what little spare time I have. Probably along the lines why I get so much satisfaction building/wrenching my own bikes. This is a cedar outdoor buffet table I made for my sister earlier this year: http://www.cianperez.com/photos/d/18...3f130985_b.jpg |
So next June is the wife and I's 20th anniversary of meeting, and we are looking at doing a trip without the kids to celebrate. We each made a list of possible places, with a focus on including our hobbies (kayaking for her, cycling for me, but doing both together). Then we compared lists on Nov. 1st to look for overlap. Only two areas of overlap are the Savannah, Georgia / Hilton Head, SC area, or the Portland, Oregon / Vancouver, WAWA area.
What does the collective BF Addiction wisdom think? On the riding front, she would ride with me, but more of a MUP / around town kind-a thing. |

Washington state coastline is pretty lame from just north of Ilwaco to just north of Aberdeen. The rest of WA's coast and pretty much all of OR's coast are amazing, however.
Oh, and the pavement @ the coast is wet even more days per year than it is inland ;) |

That looks like a nice path, but I bet it is cluttered with dog walkers and other nuisances. |
