Ok part one was pretty good. Can't believe kids had to wait 6 months to see the rest. I'll probably watch part 2 tomorrow.

There's still a chance of that after the Rose Bowl, but the Badgers lose every year.

Nope, they are in the playoffs.

BillyD 12-30-12 08:51 PM

No, the Packers are still in the playoffs, so there's still a chance of idiots jumping, etc.

I would have crashed 3x on a road bike, hell I might have given up and gone home the roads were so dicey.

You still have that motobecane I see.

I've joined that club. Even the old ladies scoot past me. And I experimented with bilateral breathing today, and doesn't that suck... a lot of water when you're not used to breathing on the other side, and your arm won't lift high enough because of a shoulder injury.

Give me a week and I should have it licked... though I suspect the little old ladies will still be passing and cursing the big fat bloke blocking up their lane.

RUOkie 12-30-12 09:01 PM

I haven't swam in 3 or 4 months. Back on the wagon this week. It will be interesting to see how bad I suck again.

sbxx1985 12-30-12 09:06 PM

That's fine. Lovie needs to go.

Nice defense, core of Forte-Cutler-Marshall. Fire him tomorrow and start looking.

sbxx1985 12-30-12 09:08 PM

I like AP. To come back and be stronger is incredible. D.Rose needs him on speed dial.

WhyFi 12-30-12 09:40 PM

Marshall is a beast - I hate him.

As disappointed as I am that Adrian came up 9 yards short, I think the record is still there for him to take. He got off to a slow start and faced 8 or 9 defenders in the box almost all year yet he still had arguably the best rushing season ever.

I admit - I was kind of hoping that Walsh would miss that FG at the end of regulation so that Adrian could break it in OT... but that damn kid doesn't miss. 10/10 on the season for FGs over 50 yards, only missed 2 or 3 attempts all year.

sbxx1985 12-30-12 09:45 PM

It was fitting that AP's last run won them the game.

sbxx1985 12-30-12 09:50 PM

The 1.45 tubulars have moved in behind Record EPS. Both are possible, but EPS is first.

Zipp is out.

Taking it to the house would have won the game and broken the record. That would have been fitting. Alas.

WhyFi 12-30-12 09:54 PM

Also, if he doesn't take MVP honors, it's a crime.

Meh.

I hate it as well. Am at least glad those good for nothing jets got smacked down this season.

LAJ 12-30-12 10:07 PM

There was never any mistaking the sound of a spoke breaking in a race. For whatever reason, sounds that were "bad" were magnified. Two separate races last year that sound was heard. Both were Zipp wheels.

On the tubular wheels, I'm going the utilitarian route. As many miles as they will get through a season, I expect it will be like 2 weeks on my other rims, without the other crap I put my regular rims through.

sbxx1985 12-30-12 10:07 PM

I have little faith the Campy SRM will happen. Dollars to gratification is low. That's fine. Powertap is solid. Christmas Joule will be a substantial improvement. Joystick gone, smaller, not yellow, and a SRM type mount.

90 Shilling for perspective.

I'd go with Rob's 50mm tubulars, but that's not an option.

Dannihilator 12-30-12 10:24 PM

Billy must not be too thrilled right now.

All Along the Wasatch Range

Rough draft of this new song. Vocals are a bit strained, but wanted to get it out there.

Started out wanting to write a straight western narrative song along the lines of the Grateful Dead's 'Me and My Uncle' or 'Jack Straw'. But in the end we're all friggin Facebook cowboys anyway, and I'm far too skeptical to write a straight cowboy song. Besides the juxtaposition of 21st century trailer parks and romantic western imagery appealed to me more. Plus I get to use that yippee ky yay mother****er line at the end.

Cranked based power is nice for giving flexibility of wheel choice..... it also causes wheel coveting, such as thinking a set of race day only tubies may be in order.

Damn you guys for planting that thought.

Herbie53 12-30-12 10:32 PM

huh... you can say damn.

You can say whatever the **** you want as long as the asterisks don't bother you. You and **** if people don't know what you said anyway.

Hey TS, not only are both teams in the playoffs but guess who they both play in the first round next week. That's right, rematch. I expect a Viking funeral, to steal a turn of phrase from WhyFi.
